Ride the Lightning Qualifiers |
| Welcome To The United BMX Association The United BMX Association(UBA) was founded to promote the sport of BMX. The main focus of the UBA is the Ride The Lightning Contest Series. The contest series will consist of three qualifying events and a Pro/Am Final. Our intent for starting such a series is to provide an outlet for today's novice and top amateur BMX riders to showcase their abilities. The UBA is dedicated to the sport of BMX and we are planning on expanding to 8 events for the 2004-2005 season. |

| Ride The Lightning Contest Series Contest Schedule for 2003-2004 Nov. 22, 2003 Central Skatepark Clearwater, FL Dec. 20, 2003 Sanctuary Skatepark Naples, FL Jan. 31, 2004 Mission Skatepark Longwood, FL *Note change of date for Mission Contest Feb. 27-29, 2004 Pro/Am Finals at Central Skatepark Amateurs Must Qualify for Finals at any one of the Qualifying Events Pros can enter the Contest in February without attending a Qualifying event

Contest Format Riders will get Two(2) 60 second runs with the better of the two runs counting as your score. Riders will be judged on Use of course, Consistency, Difficulty of Tricks, Style, and Originality. The Top 15 riders from each division Qualify for the Finals in February The Divisions 12 & under, 13 - 15, 16 & over, and Sponsored/Pro
